Mentoring Youth, Restoring Lives

Take Heart will help close the School to Prison Pipeline and restore a sense of purpose and community to formerly incarcerated individuals.

Our Initiatives

Take Heart collaborates with Riley High School, Safe Passage at the St. Joseph County Juvenile Justice Center, DePaul Academy, and amongst other partners for community outreach. 

Our Team

Take Heart is strengthened by our team of our dedicated founders, our formerly incarcerated mentors, our partners & staff, and our volunteers/interns.

Take Part

Those who have been incarcerated or impacted by the prison system can come to our Wednesday night Restorative Justice circles of support. Those who wish to mentor or volunteer can also apply to help!
